Committed to Christ

A Roadmap to Intentional Discipleship

I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting Him encounter them; I ask all of you to do this unfailingly every day...
— Pope Francis

Did you ever go to Mass on Sunday, listen to the Scripture readings, and then promptly forget what they were all about or how your life relates to their message? Or, have you attended a formational event, and left feeling empowered and enlightened? Were you then unsure of how to maintain and share your fervor? Even though you may have listened to the presenter or homilist and felt challenged at the time, what about the week after? How can you stay in touch with the message that you heard?

Intentional discipleship is a journey. It is part of the road of life. Jesus Christ's mission for the Church is clear: "Go and make disciples of all nations." A disciple is someone who knows Jesus Christ, who has made a firm commitment to their faith, and who desires to share that faith joyfully with others.

Are you a disciple? Has Christ's mission been fulfilled in you? Will you join us on the road? Will you be Committed to Christ?
